By subscribing, you will learn about the theories of burnout, compassion fatigue and stress plus you will be given a variety of tools to help manage them.

Nurses are the MOST vulnerable when it comes to experiencing burnout and compassion fatigue in the workplace. Not only does this mean that they are more likely to experience higher levels of depression and anxiety but it means they are also at risk of higher rates of physical health problems such as hypertension, diabetes and heart disease. Yet it is possible to minimize these risks by taking action to reduce and manage burnout and compassion fatigue!

Nobody experiences burnout in the same way AND there is no one tool that works the same way for everybody. So be prepared to read and consider how to implement the activities into your life each week to get the most out of it. You will find many will work for you! More importantly, they are tools you can begin using right away! Go ahead and make this small investment in your well-being. You will be glad you did!
